内容摘要： 我国是一个多民族的国家，各个少数民族在历史的长河中，形成了各具特色的婚姻习俗和婚姻家庭制度。中华人民共和国成立以后，尤其是改革开放以来，各民族的婚姻习俗和婚姻家庭关系发生了重大变化，一方面仍然保留有原来的传统和习俗；另一方面又吸收了许多外民族的东西。研究和正视各民族婚姻家庭的变迁、现状和发展趋势，对于民族地区乃至整个国家的婚姻家庭制度建设与和谐社会的建立都有着重要的意义。

Abstract: China is a multiethnic country. Different minority peoples have different marriage customs and family systems for the sake of history. After the founding of the People＇ s Republic of China, these aspects have changed much. Some traditional elements have been preserved while some external components are accepted. It is argued that a study on the present sit- uations is significant for the improvement of marriage and family systems and the develop- ment of harmonious society.
