内容摘要： 布依族历史上没有全民信仰的宗教，进入阶级社会后，多数地区信仰一种在原始宗教基础上发展而成的准人为宗教——摩教，并有自己的宗教典籍，记录布依族典籍的文字符号称为＂布依族古文字＂。其研究历史不长，文章从记录典籍的文字符号的类型、名称、造字方法三个方面分析其研究现状及研究价值。

Abstract: The Buyi people used not to have an all- people faith in religion. In most areas the Mojiao religion is what people worship, based on primitive religious faith. This religion has classics and records ＂ancient Buyi characters＂. Our research intends to show the types designations and word - formation of characters recorded in the classics as well as their current situation and academic value.
