内容摘要： 金代契丹族官员以其语言和文化的优势，多次奉命出使宋、西夏、高丽、蒙古等周边政权，或接待外国使臣，他们在外交活动中为维护金朝的外交秩序和宗主国地位做出了重要贡献。 

Abstract: With their advantages in language and culture, Qidan nationality officials of Jin Dynasty had been sent to Song Dynasty, Western Xia, Koryo, Mongolia and other surrounding regimes as ambassadors repeatedly. Sometimes they were also responsible for receiving foreign envoys. Qidan people made great contributions to safeguarding the diplomatic order and suzerain status of Jin Dynasty by means of their diplomatic activities.
